As one of the best ab workouts for men, the hanging knee cross-over can also help you build muscles faster.  You can do this by hanging on a pull-up bar while keeping your hands shoulder-width apart. Make sure that your palms are facing outward and your feet are barely touching the ground. Bring your legs together and slowly raise your knees towards your right shoulder. For best results, lift your legs as high as possible and hold the position for a few seconds.

Hip or leg raise

Ab workouts will never be complete without the leg or hip raise. To perform this exercise, you have to lie flat on a bench while raising your legs and keeping them perpendicular to the floor. To keep your balance, you can also hold the bench by reaching your arms behind your head. Slowly lift your hips off the ground, keep your lower abs contracted, and hold the position for three seconds. Make sure to keep your legs straight while you are slowly lowering your legs and making them form a straight line with your body.
