2/3 c fat free vanilla yogurt
1 box No Pudge brownie mix (find at Trader Joe’s or natural food section of store)
1 cup fat-free frozen whipped topping, defrosted
2 tbsp finely crushed peppermint candy canes
1 tbsp chocolate syrup

Salmon has been credited with many health promoting benefits.  The omega-3 fatty acids in this fish are credited with helping with inflammation, cognitive function, cancer prevention, eye health and more. 
Ingredients:
2 14oz cans of low sodium chicken broth
1.5cups whole wheat orzo
2Tbs olive oil
1 cup thinly sliced leeks (whites only)
1/2lb asparagus cut to 1″ pieces
1/2cup shredded parmesan
1/3cup reduced fat sour cream
8oz smoked salmon, coarsely chopped

SALAD:
1 cup diced celery
1 cup diced crisp apples
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup seedless red grapes
 
DRESSING:
1/2 cup unsweetened greek lowfat yogurt mixed with 1 tbs lemon juice
 
INSTRUCTIONS:
Place all salad ingredients in a large serving bowl.  Toss with dressing and keep refrigerated until ready to serve.

Recon Run is hosting a FREE Mud Run for Kids on Saturday, May 12th from 10am – 12noon

Recent surveys showed that of the people polled, the percentage of individuals that had been educated on the importance of regular exercise and healthy eating was in the high 90 percentile. When polled about how much they had been educated about the importance of sleep the percentage fell to just over 1%.
